I am an interdisciplinary scientist with a range of research interests within the broad field of volcanic risk reduction. My experience lies in issue-driven research, integrating methods from the social and geosciences to design effective risk reduction strategies.
Within STREVA, I play a major role in the design and management of the forensic workshops and also contribute to the forensic analysis element of WP3 and WP6. I conduct interviews with key actors - applicable to all work packages - in both the forensic and trial settings, and contribute to data synthesis and the design and testing of the risk assessment framework (WP5). I analyse the current volcanic information communication processes in trial settings, and examine intra-STREVA communication processes. My involvement in STREVA is for the length of the project.
