My research focuses on using satellite radar to understand the deformation of the Earth's surface caused by active tectonic and volcanic processes (and occasionally man-made processes).

Within STREVA, I am a co-leader of WP1 and use InSAR to study the volcanoes across the STREVA region, including our forensic and target volcanoes. We are also looking at ways in which satellite methods can be used in volcano observatories to provide regional perspectives on unrest, target ground-based instruments and eventually provide real-time monitoring.
