The Rabacca Bridge is critical for the north leeward villages in St Vincent. There is only one route out of the high hazard (“red”) zone, and people in the north have to cross this bridge to get to safer areas. Unfortunately the bridge crosses the Rabacca dry river, a conduit for pyroclastic flows…which could rapidly compromise this essential link during an eruption.
